John and Chris have just finished our kitchen. The quality of installation and finish is excellent. John is great as he can do everything from design, carpentry to electrics as well as the plumbing so we didn’t have to wait for other trades to come in so the job went really smoothly even though we’re in the middle of a pandemic! The quality of the kitchen sourced by John and Jenny is excellent and priced really competitively. We’re very pleased with the end result. John and Jenny were very helpful throughout the process.

I had never undertaken a full bathroom conversion before. John Shaw was referred to me by my Builders Merchants and responded promptly to my initial approach. We agreed that I would arrange the bathroom design principles and sourcing of all items and main materials, and John would install and build. By the time I was ready, John had a full order book (he is in demand and deservedly so) and the project timescale was drawn out, however, the finished result was well worth the wait. We communicated by phone and email prior to work starting, helped by Jenny’s efficiency and reliability. Good support at distance was appreciated.

We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen. It is everything we wanted without any compromises. John was very helpful during the initial planning and suggested alternatives and lots of things we hadn’t thought about. Jenny was also a great help while we were choosing everything from the units to the flooring. During installation John and Chris proved to be very skilled in all aspects. We were consulted and informed of everything they were doing throughout. We would highly recommend them.

John completely redesigned our kitchen from scratch and gave us everything we wanted in a new kitchen. He patiently and promptly updated plans during the design stage until we were completely satisfied with the final layout. He was friendly and professional during the whole fitting process and was a joy to have around. His work ethic is faultless – he couldn’t even be persuaded to stop and sit down for lunch! When the fitting was complete he also fitted a new door, erected the new dining table and chairs and even hung blinds and pictures - we couldn’t have asked for more. We now have a dream kitchen that is perfectly fitted and gives us everything we wanted. We cannot recommend John highly enough and we are happy to show the results to anyone who is interested.
